YounginTrue – Last Flight

Boston’s YounginTrue is by no means new to the TMTV pages. However we get some new music from the 617 rapping-singing producer. True recently put out his “Temporary Forevers” mixtape which was 18-track offering executive produced by True himself. Even more recently got the visual to the project’s intro track: “Last Flight”. True does not bother fixing a formula that isn’t broken, he taps one of his frequent collaborators and favorite directors – Trill is Bliss – to help depict his message on his newest video. While it’s more like an interlude with a poem style verse that opens up the track/mixtape with some introspection about his journey to this point in his life where he finds himself at currently. From there the Boston native flows on the beat produced by YounginTrue himself with one of his melody-filled flows furthering the introspective verse. All in all, it’s the first look at his second mixtape and a strong impression indeed. In the past we’ve compared the artist formerly known as J. True to artists like Lyfe Jennings with the way he gives you the soul and streets. But both him and his catalong have grown past the young comparisons. With his new projects, True looks to find himself even more while sharing the experience with the listeners.
