YBN Cordae – Old Niggas

Surprising the masses out of the YBN camp is YBN Cordae. In his best effort to “bridge the generational gap” in hip hop the young emcee out of North Carolina has bars for R. Kelly, Bill Cosby and even the Trump-supporting Kanye. But in the same verse shows praise to Mos Def and Talib Kweli. A lot of people are calling the “Old N*ggas” record a response to J. Cole’s “1985” but in any case it brings up conversation. Cordae let’s his frustrations (and valuable points) be heard over a Mizzy Mauri-laced canvas. One of sole locations for the video is a barbershop and where better to bridge a generational gap then the barbershop. PPLCALLMEACE hops behind the camera to help the YBN member deliver his message. What’s your thoughts on YBN Cordae and how are you feeling his video? Let us know in the comments after you leave the TMTV Theater. #TMTV (written by @NateSaid)
