Tyler Loyal – OT/Purple Rose

One of Massachusetts’ youngest talents is Tyler Loyal. Last time we had him on our pages was with his release of the visual for “The Bottom” which really shifted things into another gear for Tyler. Today he brings us his latest double-video for “OT/Purple Rose”. Directed, captured and edited by another one of MA’s young talents in FitzTheRunaway (frequent collaborator for Loyal). During this first part of the video the R&B vibe keeps it extra player. Tyler is serenading to his love interest before taking things to the next level. Where in the second half of the video – Loyal slows things all the way down and gets more mature with his lady. But probably my favorite highlight from this double-track is the production. Tyler Loyal produced both tracks himself, adding to his repertoire even more. I mean he’s the son of the polished reggae artist: Mighty Mystic so we already knew music would run deep in his veins but “OT/Purple Rose” is proof that musically, Loyal is indeed built for this. From the production, to the lyrics, to the visual itself. We are definitely tuned in to the upcoming R&B wave and are patiently waiting for the next drop.
