Prince Smooth – A Day Late

Prince Smooth released “A Day Late: The Memoir” back in September after kicking off his “Don’t Be Late” campaign earlier in the year. Leveling up on the marketing side of things this time around, the campaign featured an EP, visuals, merchandise and of course the project “A Day Late”. (Which could be received as one of the hardest projects to come out the city in some time.) At the same time this has been the Fields Corner artist’s most personal project in his catalog with cuts like “2 of Everything”, “A Dollar Short”, “If I Go” and “2 Stacks Story w/ Dutchy DoBad”. Of course the title track “A Day Late” too – which is the single/video that places Smooth back in the TMTV Theatre. We get a cameo from the artist’s son as well in the visual directed and edited by JR Alexander (with extra camerawork help credited to Kevin Kang).
