MILLYZ x STATIK SELEKTAH Feat. Dyce Payne – ADDICTION

Statik Selektah and Millyz recently locked in for a full album “Saints & Sinners”. Real bars and top-of-line production. More recently they unleashed the first visual off the project: “Addiction”. With Statik slowing things all the way down on the beat that sounds like he pulled out of catalog called “gems from the 90’s” – Millyz was provided the canvas to pen personal lyrics on this one about some of his drug-fueled demons. “Tell me are you still a fan?/Knowin’ I was on that shit like you/And tryna quit like you/Xannys white and the percs light blue”, flowed the Cambridge native. Millyz story-telling skills is top-tier and that is highlighted on “Addiction” but through the entire joint album as well. Dyce Payne also let some vocals fly on the track, bringing some soul to the hook. In the video, directed by LCR$, we see a short timeline of the pharmacist’s role in the addiction battle.
