Latrell James – Tracphone
Latrell James proves to be a New England gem time after time after time. Now again on his newest self-produced cut “Tracphone”. Latrell uses his talent (and gift) to spread awareness on issues he sees/experiences as a young man reaching manhood in the city that helped mold him as he watches through the days in the process of being gentrified. Telling Wonderland Magazine: “”Tracphone” to me is when you no longer feel like you belong in a place where you grew up…Gentrification takes a toll on communities of colour and I wanted make light of that while also highlighting other important issues that affect us too.” Latrell is aware and enlightened on his new record – all while being “lost” in the city where he found himself. But make no mistake the man from Boston who crafted the newest Cheerios jingle is proud of himself and of his city. Stream the “Tracphone” visual disguised as a funky informercial (thanks to the directing and editing of Legacy Content) in the TMTV Theatre. Following that, leave us a comment under this sharing your thoughts on Latrell James’ latest. #TMTV (written by: @NateSaid)
