Jay Critch – Ego

Jay Critch has his debut mixtape: “Hood Favorite” locked and loaded in the vault prepared to release essentially any day now. “Ego” appears to be the lead single for the project with good reason as it’s been ringing off for the past month. “Ego” is similar to Critch’s other solo standout “Thousand Ways” in style and sound. Similar to the anthem produced by Harry Fraud, the Brooklyn talent uses his signature flow mixing New York old school hip hop influences with the wave and style of 2018 – allowing him to float smoothly over the Jamz produced heater. Connecting with director Alex Loucas for the mini-movie we follow the Talk Money Entertainment CEO on a late-night dip to the club where he hits the stage to perform and celebrate wins with his team and some groupies. Rich Forever’s CEO (Rich The Kid) appears for a small cameo as well but the video highlights Jay Critch’s “ego”. Diamonds dance throughout the entire visual and the Brooklyn rapper gets saucy from start to finish.
