Boston's Premier Vlog

BIA – HOLLYWOOD

Riding the wave coming off her biggest tour of her career, sharing the stage with names like Pusha T and Ariana Grande, Boston’s Perico Princess delivered a strong EP (Nice Girls Finish Last) further showcasing her skills as a lyricist. All six tracks hit hard. She even gets one of Kodak Black’s first verses since serving his time who completely bodies his feature. Kali Uchis is also featured on the project. But she dropped the video to “Hollywood” a couple days ago poking fun at the superficial life in the La-La land (which she made sure to mention to Complex who premiered the entertaining visual). There’s other lyrics throughout the track that show the Boston native is very aware of the different vibe out there. At the same time as letting us know they know her vibe isn’t from out there either. “East coast shorty but right now I’m on the west/He knows I’m not from out here by the way that I dress”. Bia gets the record produced by heavyweight MurdaBeatz collaborating with CuBeatz, with the visual directed by Arrad. Clearly working towards releasing a special album, Bia is taking the proper steps to do so and we will be tuned in to the rollout especially with the six-track offering out with one video (so far) with just as equal quality. Drop some comments with thoughts on the new material from Bia after you check out the video in the TMTV Theater. #TMTV (written by: @NateSaid)
