LA’s A$ton Matthews might seem like a new face but homie has been around for a while and his hiatus to the masses wasn’t for nothing. He’s a member of the Cutthroat Boyz along with Vince Staples & Joey Fatts. He is also a former artist of A$AP Yams, who was monumental to helping usher in a breathe of fresh air into Hip Hop (not just in his home of NY since Matthews is from Cali). RIP Yams. For Real. His passing had a huge effect on A$ton wanting to continue Music, but here, he shows he can’t stay away from the Music! The reason he even started is a story to note as well as A$ton was shot in his heart, breaking his ribs & tearing his stomach. From that point on he decided to create music telling his story.
