From “Dumbchester” to TECHBoston City & State Champions (TMTV Special)

We always talk about “Exhibiting The Culture’s Stories” and if there was a story from the Inner City of #Boston we felt we needed to tell, it would be this one. That of the City & State Championship #Basketball Squad from #TECHBoston. For those that don’t know, #TECHBoston used to be #Dorchester High School, where it was mocked as “Dumbchester High” and the school’s Men’s Basketball Squad was looked at as an Automatic “W” each year. NOT ANYMORE. These Young Men (Walter Dew-Hollis, Maurice Works, Shamar Moore) have withstood A LOT of opposition including a tough History to Shake. They’ve made headlines and even #ESPN’s #SportsCenter. They had a Coach who NEVER Doubted them (Johnny Williams), protecting them like he birthed them as they began to win the Support of so Many.
