Chance The Rapper – Same Drugs

I don’t think anyone had a better year in 2016 than Chance the Rapper- a year in which he released his third project, “Coloring Book”, a 13 track mixtape that brought the Chicago native 7 grammy nominations – the first streaming-only album ever to receive a grammy nod. Earlier this week he let loose his latest music video for “Same Drugs”, a visual that resonates with a large portion of Chance’s target market. The director, Jake Schreier portrays Chance’s vision magnificently – providing a video quality that reflects the quality of TV back in the 90’s. It starts with Chance playing a grand piano alongside a puppet giving off a vibe that really reminded me of watching children’s shows growing up. Complex, also named Chance the best rapper alive this week. Is he? Peep the visual and let us know what you think by commenting below! #TMTV (written by -@MarkRKearney)
